A Stately Home’s Makeover
Our clients brief was to modernise their old home, creating a contemporary and easy to maintain interior. They were keen to maximise storage in their kitchen, making use of accessorised pantry cupboards, slide-away pocket door cabinetry to conceal ovens and small appliances and create an island bench to open the space.
For the laundry, ensuite and bath, the client wanted a light and airy feel. They wanted an organised dressing room installed adjacent to the main ensuite. They wished new timber flooring installed throughout the ground floor and new carpet to upper floor bedrooms and lounge.
With the kitchen renovation, removing old kitchen walls created open feel. Throughout the home colour schemes of satin white and madeira veneer for joinery, natural granite and satin glass benchtops, rich grey oak timber flooring, plus travertine style floor and wall tiles to all wet areas create a modern and warm vibe.
Designed ceiling LED lights in black & white throughout and new Shadowline ceilings to living, dining, kitchen and bathrooms continue the modern classic interior which esteems this grand old bungalow.
