Stage One of a river view home renovation and transformation which included Living, Dining, Kitchen, Hall and Bath.

The clients home renovation brief was to create a light and bright feel to their outdated dark interior. They wished to extend the kitchen function with a breakfast bar and integrated pantry cupboards. To achieve this, the kitchen and walk-in pantry walls were removed, and a breakfast counter was integrated. The kitchen window was sealed off to create additional wall storage and to integrate a custom granite splashback with sill. Storage was further increased with a custom dining liquor cabinet, which included LED lighted display shelves and stone benchtop. The main joinery colour scheme was used in living area with new custom tv lowboard to match. New timber flooring in a vintage grey oak was installed throughout living, dining and hall, with new vintage style timber look floor tiles to the kitchen. The clients art was also reframed to suit their new interior space.

The bathroom renovation brief was to modernise the outdated look and function of the space and take attention away from the toilet suite located facing the bathroom entry door. To achieve this, a new wall with recess was created, with concealed cistern. New wall and floor tiles were installed, new joinery, shower screen and shadowline ceiling. Downlights and starlights were used to create an ambient feel.

Soft muted tones were used throughout this home renovation to create a serene, tranquil space and to maximize the beautiful river view.
